Description of the Assignment: National Consultant-Community Consultations on Cooperatives, Farming Households & Agro-Dealers

Period of assignment/services (20 working days): [for a period of two months]

Qualification and experience requirements

*1. Advanced degree in agriculture, rural development, social sciences, or related field.

Do you meet the requirement of Proven experience in community consultations,
participatory rural appraisal, and value chain analysis and Familiarity with the Somali
context, especially Jubaland

• Proven experience in community consultations, participatory rural appraisal, and value
chain analysis.
• Familiarity with the Somali context, especially Jubaland.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, and report-writing skills.
• Experience working with government, private sector, and civil society on agricultural
development.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; Somali language skills are an asset.
• Familiarity with Somalia's agricultural context and donor agency policies, procedures,
and practices (Netherlands, UNDP) is beneficial
