INVITATION OF TENDER REHABILITATION OF BOREHOLE AND PIPELINE EXTENSION

 

Horn of Africa Voluntary Youth Committee (HAVOYOCO) is a regional Non -non-governmental Organization (NGO) operating in Somaliland and Ethiopia. HAVAYOCO was founded in 1992 and since its inception, it has successfully implemented different development projects in Somaliland and Ethiopia. HAVAYOCO was initially set up with the aim of being a volunteer and learning institution and to address the needs of poor communities and marginalized groups in Somaliland.

The Project Implementation

However, HAVOYOCO will implement the Darwin Initiative project, which is a long-term project funded by the Darwin initiative Institute through the Development Fund of Norway (DF), The main goal is to improve seed, food and livelihood security of Agri-pastoralist households in Somaliland. The Project will build resilience in three communities through improved access to quality seeds, improved soil and water management, increased awareness of farmers' rights, and increased capacity for the sustainable use and management of plant genetic resources for food and agriculture among community members and government officials/institutions, and promotion of policies

Therefore, HAVOYOCO is inviting Somaliland registered contractors to participate in these flowing Tender .

Construction/rehabilitation of  Botor Borehole 3+ Botor Borehole4 + and extension pipeline  from Galoolay borehole ton the Seed  Bank health/  Gabilay district (all detailed info in BOQs).

Terms and Conditions

  1. A copy of valid license/certificate(ministry of public works certificate and Housing )
  2. Proof of financial capacity – official bank statement
  3.  Have relevant experience in a similar field. Please attach evidence/certificates, recommendations and Contracts etc.
  4. Updated company profile indicating full address, organogram, contact persons, key personnel, their qualifications, experience, and list of machinery.
  5. Work Plan – Detailed

6.      The envelope should clearly indicate the Invitation to tender reference number (Tender ref.  Botor borehole 3 +botor Borhole 4 and Galoolay extension pipeline) but contain no other details relating to the bid or the bidder name.

  1. All supporting documentation should be labeled and grouped together (individual envelopes, stapled, etc), and then included in a single sealed envelope as per the above.

How to apply

Interested companies are advised to collect a complete set of bid documents and instructions from HAVOYOCO’s HQ Office at Badda Cas, Hargeisa between 8:00am to 3:30pm (Sunday to Thursday form 08 October to 22th October 2023). Sealed bid documents MUST be returned to HAVOYOCO HQ Office in a sealed envelope clearly stating the company name and its contact address not later than 22 October 2023.
