INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE REHABLILATION OF BARKEDS AT TAYSA AND CARO MALKO AND CONSTRCUTION OF GRAIN MILL ROOM AT TAYSA VILLAGE

BACKGROUND:

Horn of Africa Voluntary Youth Committee (HAVOYOCO) is a regional non-governmental Organization (NGO) operating in Somaliland and Ethiopia. HAVAYOCO was founded in 1992 and since its inception it has successfully implemented different development projects in Somaliland and Ethiopia. HAVAYOCO was initially set up with the aim of being a volunteer and learning institution and to address the needs of poor communities and marginalized groups in Somaliland.

HAVOYOCO mission is to empower vulnerable communities in the Horn of Africa through motivation and capacity building so they can improve their standard of living.

The Project implementation

In 2023. HAVOYOCO is implementing Building resilience and adaptation to climate change project (BRAC) which aims to support agro-pastoral communities by enhancing the socio-economic wellbeing of the target populations Under Gabiley district, in the aspects of engaging better farming system, soil and water conservation, and improving crop production and livestock management, as well as establishing and capacitating community based organizations and increasing social inclusion and gender equity to enhance the capacity of local partners, with the aim of delivering a positive impact on the target communities and partners as well.

On the other hand, the project aims at increasing access to sustainable, sufficient and safe, water through construction of Berkeds and distribution of HDPE plastic sheets

Therefore, HAVOYOCO is inviting Somaliland registered contractors to participate these flowing bids including Rehabilitation for  2 Berkeds at Caro-Malko and Taysa and construction of a grain grinding mill room

Terms and Conditions

1. A copy of license/certificate from the ministry of public works, housing and transport valid.
2. Updated Bank statement.
3. Must have relevant experience of 3 years in similar field. Please attach evidence like certificates, recommendations etc.
4. Updated company profile indicating full address, organogram, contact persons, key personnel, their qualification, experience and list of machineries.

Interested companies are advised to collect a complete set of bid documents and instructions from HAVOYOCO’s HQ Office at Badda Cas, Hargeisa or HAVOYOCO Burco office between 8:00am to 3:30pm (Sunday to Thursday form 02 July to 15th July 2023). Sealed bid documents MUST be returned to HAVOYOCO HQ Office or HAVOYOCO Burco Office in a sealed envelope clearly stating the company name and its contact address not later than 15th July 2023.
