Horn of Africa Voluntary Youth Committee (HAVOYOCO) is a regional Non -governmental Organization (NGO) operating in Somaliland and Ethiopia. HAVAYOCO was founded in 1992 and since its inception, it has successfully implemented different development projects in Somaliland and Ethiopia. HAVAYOCO was initially set up with the aim of being a volunteer and learning institution and to address the needs of poor communities and marginalized groups in Somaliland.

Horn of Africa Voluntary Youth Committee (HAVOYOCO) is a regional Non –governmental Organization (NGO) operating in Somaliland and Ethiopia. HAVAYOCO was founded in 1992 and since its inception it has successfully implemented different development projects in Somaliland and Ethiopia. HAVAYOCO was initially set up with the aim of being a volunteer and learning institution and to address the needs of poor communities and marginalized groups in Somaliland.

In Somaliland, education struggles with many circumstances that prevent many children from being educated, such as droughts, education accessibility, social conflicts, poverty, economic inequality, norms and the culture of society.

The number of children in school-age Somaliland is estimated at half a million, while schools attending 34% and 66% are out of school.

HAVOYOCO with partnership save the children and MoES is implementing GPE System Transformation Grant.Girls Education Accelerator program in Somaliland regions of (Erigavo and Sahi ) and will contribute to the implementation of the basic education response strategy plan developed by the Somaliland MoES that immediate interventions mitigate and respond to the effects of school closure by ensuring learning continuity. It also supports education systems to fully recover and ensure continued quality learning and sustained interventions with long-term potential with the key project outcomes indicators:

How to apply

The Interested companies are advised to collect a complete set of bid documents and instructions from HAVOYOCO’s HQ Office at Badda Cas, Hargeisa between 8:00am to 3:30pm (Sunday to Thursday form 06 October to 20 October 2024). Sealed bid documents must be returned to HAVOYOCO HQ Office in a sealed envelope clearly stating the company name and its contact address not later than 20 October 2024.
