REQUEST FOR QOUTATION FOR THE SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF CAMP TENT ESTABLISHMENT IN BALI SHEIKH, HABAASWAYN AND GEELDIDIS UNDER ODWAYE DISTRICT

It has been implementing development projects in Somaliland since 2001. Multi-sectoral projects have been carried out in the Awdal, Marodijeh, Togdheer & Sanaag Regions for the past 22 years.
Description of the of the project and the bid
Odwayne District is one of the intervention areas in which Welthungerhilfe works on many sectors of development and humanitarian activities, including WASH, education, and NRM. Due to the effect of current droughts, Welthungerhilfe established three new participatory forest management (PFM) sites in Odwayne District to support grazing animals and fodder production as well as to contribute to the maintenance of overall environmental quality and ecosystem by constructing soil and water conservation structures in the socially protected areas through cash-for-work to improve the fodder and water availability for livestock in those target locations. Therefore, these protected areas will be constructed a temporary camps intended for PFM site keepers.
The camps will be set up in three different locations Bali Shiekh, Habaswayn and Geel-didis, one camp per site and each camp will consist of a framed family tent that can accommodate a group of seven people and is suitable for use in rural areas.
Therefore, WHH would like to invite all eligible suppliers to apply this tender provided that they meet minimum requirements of the tender.

Note: all the corresponding documents for the camp tent establishment bid for the three respective villages are uploaded to our E-tender system and can be downloaded from there. Also, the required criteria for the bid have been explicitly shown in the bid dossiers. The bidders must fulfill the minimum tender criteria as outlined in the tender documents and failure to do this will be subject to automatic disqualification.
Special attention
Quantities and contents of the listed assortment is subject to no alteration. Welthungerhilfe
reserves the right to divide the orders into lots and to award the lots into different suppliers.
However, Welthugerhilfe prefers to place the order with one suppler only. All the relevant information are indicated in the bid documents. Furthermore, all bidders are also required to meet the minimum tender requirements as shown in the bid dossiers. Welthungerhilfe will strictly check the these criterium and most notably the supplier who fits the bid requirements will be deemed as a winner.

How to apply
All interested bidders are required to submit their corresponding offers in a sealed and hard copy to our Hargeisa Office in Masale close to Djibouti Consulate.
The deadline for this tender will be on 05.02.2023, at 04:30pm EAT. Please note that late submissions will not be accepted!!
